TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT RECOMMEND. We booked a room with a king-size bed for two adults and our 3-year-old child. On arrival, we were told that three people could not stay in the room, although "this restriction was not stated anywhere when booking"My husband had to find and pay for another hotel and stay separately from his family. The soundproofing is virtually non-existent.The street noise was awful, and there were already earplugs in the room. Other guests were complaining about the noise too. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

L'établissement bénéficie d'un très bon emplacement, juste en face de la mer, et les lieux étaient propres. En revanche, notre expérience a été mitigée. Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 3 adultes, mais nous avons eu une chambre double accompagnée d'une chambre d'enfant. Lorsque nous avons demandé des explications par message, la seule réponse obtenue a été : « On ne peut rien faire. » Le matelas de cette dernière n'était pas du tout adapté à un adulte, ce qui a rendu le séjour inconfortable. De plus, les rideaux n'étaient pas occultants : dès 4 h 30 du matin, la lumière du jour entrait dans la chambre. La salle de bains et les toilettes étaient situées sur le palier, ce qui n'était pas précisé de manière suffisamment claire à notre goût. Les produits de toilette étaient bien fournis, ce qui est un point positif. Pendant notre séjour, le linge de la chambre double a été changé, mais pas celui de la chambre d'enfant. Enfin, nous n'avons vu aucun membre du personnel le matin, sauf le dernier jour (dimanche), où une dame était présente dès 7 h 30. À noter également que la réception est ouverte uniquement jusqu'à 17 h pour le check-in, ce qui peut être contraignant en cas d'arrivée tardive. Nous avons eu une amie qui a pu le faire pour nous. Au final, l'emplacement et la propreté sont appréciables, mais plusieurs points concernant le confort, le service et l'organisation mériteraient d'être améliorés.

Very tired now, needs some updating. Bed linen and towels very clean and comfortable. Spoilt by small things that could be addressed very easily. Kettle for instance can only be used by placing on the floor as lead too short (we pointed this out when we stayed in the same room last year) Fan provided, due to expensive heat sounded like a plane taking off and fell backwards when moved from the wall. Also no shelf in shower to put soap or shower gell. Staff very friendly, but no one on site after 5pm although bizarrely we found a button to request room service.

Terrible Room and Terrible Service .My friend and I arrived at the hotel at 13:45. The staff member was an older woman, and she told us we had to wait until 14:00 to check in. There was nowhere to sit while waiting, and she said we had to buy something in order to sit down. In fact, the room had already been cleaned and prepared — they just wanted us to spend money. At 14:00, they finally gave us the room. It was extremely old and shabby, with only one tiny window, and the bed was also very small. I had booked a twin room, but she said I hadn’t left a note, so I had to pay an extra £45 to change it to two beds. In short, do not book this hotel under any circumstances. Everything was absolutely terrible.

Fabulous location. I enjoyed a sweet single room overlooking the sea, which i paid a fair price for a three night break Straightforward accomodation and i had a seprate bathroom for my own use. Perhaps not good if you struggle with stairs or have prams. But perfect for solo or couples/friends break. Check in times are limited but i think they are working it the best way for them to have a life also! Given keys and come and go as you please. Suited me especially for around £55 per night but price varies.

Really disappointing experience here yesterday. My friend and I stopped in the sunshine intending to get coffee and cake, she sat on the tables outside while I went in to quickly use the toilet. The café was largely empty (just two people paying at the till), and I politely approached a male member of staff to ask if I can use the toilet and where is it, he said it was no problem and pointed me towards the toilet. I am visibly six months pregnant and was wearing a very obvious “baby on board” badge on my coat. However, as I walked over, an elderly female staff member behind the till abruptly told me the toilets were for paying customers only. I said, “oh sorry, do you mind, I’m pregnant,” but before I could even explain that my friend was sat outside, she cut me off, said she didn’t care, and repeated the same line. Her tone was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. The way I was spoken to made me feel so unwelcome that I left immediately and said not a problem. The café lost two customers because of her complete lack of basic kindness and common sense. I hope she manages to some joy in her life.

What kind of a hotel ends check in at 5.30pm? Because of this I had to cancel a planned trip, and of course they refused to refund. Rubbish customer service.

Room was ok and clean but the service is, erm, let's call it tepid. The lady running it clearly cannot be bothered. The hotel is unmanned from 5pm, she didn't show any care that the room set up (2 rooms separated by a corridor) was not disclosed upon booking and was not apt for a family with a young child. She didn't ask a single question during check out. Oh, and it was all delivered with zero smiles. The reviews suggest this isn't a one off. Just not the way to do hospitality. The area is great, tho, lots of cafes and restaurants a stone's throw away.

Terrible experience. No reception after 5 p.m., so if you arrive later you’re left outside with no help. Dirty, poorly maintained, unbearably hot, and full of stairs. Absolutely not recommended.
